I’d love to hear from you
Friends,
In less than two weeks, I’ll take the stage to debate Roger Marshall. When we meet, it won’t just be the two of us up there — I’ll be speaking for every single Kansan who feels betrayed by Sen. Marshall rubber-stamping the very policies that have led to cuts in healthcare assistance, skyrocketing gas prices and out-of-control grocery costs.
This is one of our last chances before the election to demand answers and accountability from Sen. Marshall. That’s why, before I take the stage on Oct. 21, I want to hear from you about the issues that matter most and what you’d like to see us talk about.
I got into this race because Roger Marshall isn’t listening to Kansans. He hasn’t held a public town hall in over 580 days. He spends more time in Florida than he does listening to Kansans — and he spends taxpayer money to do so. And he puts his party’s policies, no matter how disastrous they are, ahead of the folks he was elected to represent.
That’s no way to lead, friends.
Kansans deserve better than a leader who voted multiple times to stay in the Iran war. They deserve more than someone who is willing to let rural hospitals close, turns his back on our farmers and ranchers and lies about prices going down.
If Roger Marshall bothered to listen to Kansans, maybe he’d understand that — but he doesn’t.
I do.
That’s why I’ve spent the last few months crisscrossing our state and talking to thousands of Kansans about the issues that are making their lives harder. I’ve thought critically about how to solve those problems. We need real solutions to make gas and groceries affordable again, protect Social Security for our seniors, make sure Kansans can afford healthcare and so much more.
Friends, Roger Marshall has a lot to answer for. He seems to have forgotten that leaders should listen to the people they serve — emphasis on should. You can’t represent people if they never see you. You can’t fight for them if you don’t understand their priorities.
I’ve spent a lifetime listening to Kansans. When I’m elected, I’ll keep listening to them. I’ll be a voice for each and every one of us in the Senate. I’ll put the people I represent ahead of party and politics and stand up to the chaos and corruption that dominates so much of Washington today.
Friends, this is how we defeat Sen. Marshall — by sharing, by speaking up and by listening to each other. This is how we make sure that Kansans and the country finally get the leadership they deserve.
Thank you in advance. I can’t wait to hear from you.
