Watch our new ad!
Friends,
We recently went live with a new ad — have you seen it yet? If not, I’m excited for you to take a look:
After listening to thousands of Kansans about the challenges they’re facing, it’s clear Kansans are ready for change and to elect a new leader in Washington.
I’m here to solve the real issues that are plaguing the people of Kansas. I’m here to be a champion for folks — to listen to them, to open my heart to them and to do everything in my power to make their lives better.
But with less than three weeks until Election Day, polls show this race is neck and neck. That’s why we need this ad to run in living rooms across Kansas — during the news, during the games and in between the shows Kansans are watching.
With the top GOP super PAC launching a massive ad buy to turn voters against me, getting this ad in front of every Kansan matters more than ever. Election Day is November 3, and early voting has already started. That’s why we need to keep this ad running and make sure that Kansans across the state know I can solve the issues that are hurting them most.
But it’s not enough to get this ad on TV a handful of times. This close to the election, political ads are running non-stop. In fact, just a few days ago, 34 political ads ran between 5 and 7 a.m. on one NBC affiliate alone. We have to make sure our message doesn’t get drowned out, which means we need to get this ad on the air as frequently as possible — on TV and digital platforms as well — to make sure voters see it.
That’s not the only reason we need to get as much airtime as possible. You probably already know the NYT listed this as one of the most competitive Senate races in the country. Multiple election forecasters — from Nate Silver to the Cook Political Report to Steve Kornacki — are calling this race a toss-up. And Roll Call officially named Roger Marshall one of the most vulnerable senators in the country.
But the closer we get to Election Day, the tighter this race gets. And the more Sen. Marshall’s allies play attack ads against me, the more our razor-thin lead shrinks. We have to fight back, and we have to do it now.
TV time doesn’t come cheap, especially during prime time. My team and I believe it’s worth it, though, because it’s a chance for thousands of Kansans to meet me in their living room. Not only that: the data shows TV ads can really help. That’s why we’re committed to doing this.
But we can’t do it alone. I’m counting on a surge of grassroots support from people like you to help me keep this ad on the air right up to Election Day. Please, if you’re able, will you chip in whatever you can today and help us reach folks in every corner of Kansas?
At this critical moment, every dollar really does make a difference.
Thank you for all you do,
Adam Hamilton
