I’m so proud to call myself a Kansan and to have met so many fellow Kansans on the campaign trail this year. While we may not always agree on everything politically – we’re a healthy mix of Republicans, Democrats and independents – there are folks from all 105 counties who can agree on one thing: It’s time Kansas had a Senator who will listen.

That’s why Kansans from every county have chipped in to power this campaign. Thanks to this grassroots team, our momentum is surging, but I need your help to cross the finish line in eight days. Will you join folks in every Kansas county by chipping in today?

Here’s why this is such a big milestone for our campaign: From the very beginning, I made a commitment to refuse even a single dime of corporate PAC money. It wasn’t the easy route. But I’m running to serve Kansans in Washington, not special interests.

Every milestone we’ve reached, every ad we’ve aired and every point we’ve gained in the polls has been because folks like you believed that this campaign is a worthy cause for your support.

It took us five months and tens of thousands of grassroots donations to raise $15 million for this campaign. Those resources have been invaluable — it’s helped us turn this safe seat into a real battleground. But Sen. Marshall got that same amount in a single day from one of the biggest super PACs in the country.

That’s what we’re up against. Sen. Marshall’s Washington insider allies have a virtually unlimited war chest that they can unleash whenever — and in these eight days before Election Day, we can expect them to drop millions more in attack ads.

That’s why I’m personally asking you to chip in today. If we don’t respond to super PAC spending with a surge of grassroots support, we risk letting Marshall’s allies drown us out in these decisive final days.
