This month alone, ad spending is on track to exceed $65 million. That’s more than is being spent in almost every other Senate battleground — even in states like Georgia, which has triple the population of Kansas!

There’s absolutely no doubt about why so much money is being spent on this race: Multiple election forecasters have listed it as a toss-up — and Nate Silver is calling it the closest race in the nation. That’s why, in the final days of this race, Roger Marshall’s super PAC allies are spending millions of dollars to air baseless attack ads against me in the hopes of saving this seat for him.

Friends, they never thought Roger Marshall would have any trouble holding on to this seat.

They weren’t banking on Kansans across the country saying, “No more!” to his failed leadership.
They weren’t counting on more than 100,000 grassroots supporters investing in this campaign.
They weren’t planning on people like you refusing to write Kansas off — and instead standing up and doing everything you can to make sure hardworking Kansans get a champion in the Senate.

No, they weren’t counting on any of that — and neither was Roger Marshall. But now, we’re on the verge of pulling off a historic win on Tuesday, and Marshall and his allies in Washington are panicking.

That’s why President Trump and Vice President Vance both came to Kansas to rally for Marshall. And it’s why they’ll spend even more money in the final days of this race to turn voters against me.

Friends, I know we can win this, but I’ll be honest: This eleventh-hour surge in spending is a serious threat. With so much money and so much national attention on this race, the outcome of this election is going to be decided in these last few final days.
